As communities explore new and diversified approaches to enhancing public safety, Chicago's Crisis Assistance Response and Engagement (CARE) pilot offers valuable lessons for the field. The pilot implemented and evaluated three different approaches to crisis response. During the webinar, the panelists presented key findings from the implementation evaluation that provide insights into:

  • The development of the CARE model.
  • Findings from the CARE pilot implementation evaluation, including challenges and opportunities encountered during the pilot phase.
  • Implications for scaling alternative crisis response programs.
